The Upper Assiniboine Conservation District riparian forest was a multi-year project that began in 2008 with 5.14 acres of native grassland boarding the Assiniboine River along Highway 83.

This is an educational site consisting of over 900 trees, completed with a walking trail and picnic area. This is a great place for school groups, tourists, and locals.
