The Upper Assiniboine Conservation District Riparian Forest was a multi-year project that began in 2008. 5.14 acres of native grassland along the Assiniboine River was redeveloped into a rest stop, walking trail, and habitat to hundreds of species. The forest is a popular educational site consisting of over 900 trees - a great place for school groups, tourists, and locals alike to explore!
