In accordance with By-Law 2016-05 of Prairie View Municipality to regulate burning within the Municipality.
As of May 8, 2025, there will be a burn ban in effect. All outdoor fires are banned with the exclusion of barbeques and designated campfire pits in the municipality.
The municipality during a fire ban may in respect of any related costs incurred in taking any type of wildfire protection charge such costs to the person who caused the wildfire, or the owner or occupant of the land or property in respect to which the action was taken.
The ban will be in effect until such time as the Fire Chiefs or designates remove the ban. Please monitor the PVM website or download the PVM app to your mobile phone for further updates.
