Miniota Municipal Museum

The Miniota Municipal Museum boasts two houses filled with over 1200 different artifacts from all periods, including a fascinating display of native artifacts found in the area.  Also found here is a replica of the Town of Crandall  made in 1982 by Myrtle Chuba.  

The museum is located on 110 Sarah Ave and is open during the summer months. For 2022 Museum is open every Saturday 2pm - 4pm.

Foxwarren Museum

The Foxwarren Museum operated by the Foxwarren Historical Society, is located in the former St. George's Anglican Church situated by the Foxwarren Memory Garden on 1st st in Foxwarren. Pioneer Women is the theme of the museum. St. George's Church was built on donated farm land in 1906, moved into town in 1921 and to it's present location in 2009.

The museum houses records, artifacts, and articles from the prior years when Foxwarren was a larger busier community. The Historical Society is presently working to upgrade the building by bringing in new memorabilia and improving the way we celebrate the proud history of our community.

Hours: Open June 27 - August 27, 2022, 9am - 12, 12:30 -  4:30pm

Isabella Museum

The Isabella Museum consists of five buildings constructed between the years 1909-1918. Visitors can tour two family homes, a retirement home, an old store and a barn that provide a window back in time. These buildings are filled with memorabilia and antiques from the 1900s. Isabella Museum Days are normally  held in July. Museums are open these days with demonstrations happening, kids games, and a BBQ. 

Birdtail Country Museum

The Birdtail Country Museum originally established in 1983 now consists of two building situated side by side on Main Street in Birtle, Manitoba. The main building, a former Union Bank, is arranged as a bank manager’s residence from the 1900’s.

The museum houses approximately 5000 artifacts of every kind which are well displayed throughout both buildings. Included is a huge variety of house hold items as well as military, archaeological and aboriginal artifacts.

The museum is considered to be a major tourist attraction. A small but dedicated group of volunteers strive to keep the museum open and accessible to the general public as much as possible. Usually a summer student is hired to assist with tours.
