The Thunder and Ice Snowmobile Club groomed trail links the communities of Miniota, Hamiota, Oak River, Shoal Lake, Birtle and Oakburn.

The Virden Valley Runners snowmobile trail joins the trail near Miniota.

The Snowtraxx Snowmobile Club has been actibe in developming a groomed and designated Snofund Trail System covering some 380 KM - these trails link Birtle, St-Lazare, Foxwarren, Binscarth, Russell, Asessippi, Inglis, Angusville, Waywayseecappo, Rossburn, Rossman Lake and Olha.
